How to Share Animated Greeting Cards on WhatsApp & Social Apps

An animated FestivalWish card lives on a webpage. Sharing its link lets the recipient see the motion, your message and your chosen styling when they open it. This is different from sharing a PNG, which is a still picture.

Send an actual animated MP4 on WhatsApp

Choose Share animated on WhatsApp to prepare a short silent MP4 on your device. After the preview appears, tap Share MP4 on WhatsApp. The second tap opens the phone share sheet with a fresh gesture; choose WhatsApp and a recipient there. Creating MP4 requires a compatible browser and H.264 recorder. If the device cannot create or share it, use the animated link option below. No file is downloaded automatically.

Create an animated greeting link

1. Choose one of the 20 animated designs and select an occasion.
2. Add names and your message. Change the headline, sign-off, colour, typeface, text size, alignment, frame and animation pace if you want to.
3. Choose Share animated greeting. On a supported phone, select WhatsApp or another app from the system share sheet. If that feature is unavailable, use one of the clearly labelled link-sharing options.
4. Choose the recipient and complete the send action inside your social app.

What your recipient sees

The link opens the saved card in their browser. The card animates automatically unless device accessibility settings request reduced motion. A pause button lets the recipient stop and restart the animation. The page also offers a way to make a greeting in return.

Animation, photos and PNGs

A PNG is not an animated file. The separate Share still PNG option creates a picture on your device and can include your chosen photo or business logo. Photos and logos are not uploaded into the animated greeting link. The animated link stores names, message, design and customization, so anyone who receives that link can view those details.

Sharing links through different apps

A browser cannot force your phone to select a particular app or guarantee which caption an app keeps. The website provides the link and message, and your phone or receiving app controls the final send screen. Do not put confidential details in a greeting you plan to forward.
